Rivo is a young hero who falls in battle against the Haundo, vicious creatures that have been terrorizing the land. He awakens to find himself... as not quite himself, but as a sprit.
A mysterious force sends him back in time to witness his own rise and fall over the eventful final weeks of his life: the friends he made, the enemies he fought, and the love he never realized was there. Will Rivo be able to win his life back, along with the heart of the one who loved him in secret?Join Rivo and his friends as they travel through a kingdom under threat. In a clean epic fantasy where swords are drawn, hearts are broken, and wishes can come true.

Rivo is a noble hero with a big heart. He's based off the heroes I grew up adoring. Heroes like Luke Skywalker, Link (Zelda), Atreyu (Neverending Story), Wesley (Princess Bride), and many, many more.I wanted to make a hero different than what we see in a lot of contemporary fiction. One who isn't gritty, nihilistic, and morally grey, but earnest and uncorrupted by the world. A hero who wants to be there, who's virtuous and just. One who wants to help and save others no matter the cost. I feel his story is more of a tribute to the heroes of old who wanted to do the right thing, because saving the world is what heroes do.Rivo's story is a clean YA fantasy. No politics or shoe-horned agendas, but rather a story to escape the issues of our day into a world where the line dividing good and evil is clearly drawn. This is a story about a kingdom in danger. A coming of age tale with battles, and adventure. About a noble young man Named Rivo and his place in this world. It's not just action, it's about family, friendship and love. Not a steamy, spicy love, but the innocent and pure love we used to hear stories about.
Matthew Linton was born in Syracuse, NY and spent the bulk of his childhood in a small town called Chittenango (hometown of The Wizard of Oz creator, L. Frank Baum).
Matt has lived in four different states and has been calling South Carolina his home since 2000. He lives with his wife, Sheila, their two kids, Owen and Erin, and their pet turtle, Sheldon.
When he's not writing, Matt enjoys reading, going for long walks, and spending time with his family and friends.
Matt's love of stories, and the fantasy genre in particular, was piqued at a young age. He grew up watching movies like The Princess Bride and The Neverending Story and playing video games like Zelda, Suikoden, Chrono Cross, and many more.

Interview with Despoina Kemeridou
I had the pleasure of receiving an interview questionnaire from Despoina, an author, graphic designer, and poet. Sidenote: Despoina designed my 3d book images and some other ad material for me. I'm very satisfied with her work and would certainly recommend her to any interested. The quality of her work is good and her prices are very reasonable. See the link to the interview below.
